As the school year comes to an end and summer begins, many of our senior students will be graduating and preparing for their post-secondary plans. While other students may be returning to high school in the fall and are already thinking about their next academic year. Either way, here is some important updates and information for all of our OVS students.
With the school year coming to an end and summer fast approaching, many students are starting to consider their summer plans. While summer is a great time to rest and relax, it can also be a good time to catch up on missed courses or reach ahead to take courses for the next school year.

With online education continuing to grow and becoming one of the go to educational resources for students and parents alike, it’s imperative that future teachers learn how to create and navigate online learning systems. Which is why OVS is happy to participate in the Wilfred Laurier Placement Program and provide hands on learning in online education.
The RVHEA Conference is held annually, this year taking place at Kanata Baptist Church in Ottawa. At the conference, parents and student can connect with other homeschooler to learn and seek advice from one another. As well, there are seminars discussing topics regarding issues and questions homeschooled parents and students face.
