What made you want to become a Teacher?
I love helping other people and working in social settings! Being a teacher, everyday is something
different, you are able to be a lifelong learner and instill your passion in others.
What is your favourite part about being a Teacher?
Being able to help students achieve their goals both academically and personally. By helping the
students and being a positive influence on them to lead them towards success.
Do you prefer teaching online or in a classroom?
I enjoy both! No matter the space, online or in person in a classroom, it is important to create a
space where the students feel comfortable learning and have a pathway to success.
What are some of your favourite past times, aside from teaching?
I enjoy being active and playing sports. Currently, I play on two different soccer teams, which
allows me to continue this passion as I have been playing for over 20 years!
What do you feel is your greatest success in life so far?
I believe my greatest success so far would be being able to teach abroad in Europe. By doing so, I
have been able to see multiple countries around the world.
If you couldn’t be a teacher, what career would you most likely have?
If I couldn’t be a teacher I believe I would still be working in a setting where my
social/leadership skills could thrive; whether that be in a managerial role or coaching a team.
Favourite Movie?
Hocus Pocus
Favourite Book?
It’s not a book but definitely William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet.

Continue to travel with my family and support them as they have supported me.
What is one piece of advice you would like to share with your students?
I would have to start with one of my favourite lyrics that keeps me motivated, “Don’t you worry
child, heaven’s got a plan for you”. Understand that your goals and pathway may change, you do not
need to have your mind made up right away, what you want in life,
academically or personally will come and it’s okay if it takes you a little longer to find it.
